Calderwood Appoints Richard Goldman as Independent Director

Calderwood, the leading Cayman Islands boutique fund governance firm, has appointed Richard Goldman as an Independent Director.

Rich Goldman is a highly respected US investment funds attorney with a distinguished 40-year career. He was a partner for 22 years with Morgan Lewis (including 10 years with Bingham McCutchen, which combined with Morgan Lewis in 2014), where he served as co-head of the Global Hedge Funds Group. He currently serves as a Senior Consultant to Morgan Lewis.

Based in Boston, Rich will act as an independent member of the Boards of Directors or Governance Boards of investment funds and related structures, providing Calderwood’s clients’ funds with guidance on key legal, regulatory and governance matters. His expertise in the private funds arena spans fund formation, product structuring, strategic and seed capital arrangements, and management company agreements. He has been recognised as a leading hedge fund attorney by Chambers USA for many years.
